RANKINE. - James Cook (Linlithgow). Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday 28 March 2017. Educated at Coalsnaughton Primary School and Alloa Academy, former headteacher at both Banchory Primary School and Clackmannan Primary School. Previously of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders and The Queen's Royal Regiment, finishing as Captain in The First Battalion, 10th Gurkha Rifles. Retired HMI (Education). James, loving husband to Margaret, proud father to Kenneth, Alan and Jennifer, grandfather to Callum, Hamish and Jamie, loving brother to Lily and the late William, Christina and Robert and kind uncle to many nieces and nephews. Family flowers only please but donations appreciated to Cancer Research UK.
