My late mother Shelagh Conaghan (1939-2006; a former teacher of English at Dollar Academy) was a good friend of Jennifer and as children my brother and I spent a good deal of time at Jennifer's house Blinkbonny during the years 1972-1980. I have very happy memories of Jennifer's kindness and her wonderful sense of humour. I was fascinated by her own art work. My brother and I were both painted in watercolours by Jennifer's father Ian in 1975. The portraits hang in my bedroom in Somerset to this day. Dan Conaghan

So very sorry to hear of her passing as my George has many shared memories. She was a well-known fixture around Dollar & will be very much missed! Very accomplished too.
