Eddie Dixon

Janie, Lynn I was thinking about Ed yesterday during the remembrance Sunday services as I often do & thought I'd get in touch with him again only to learn of his sad passing. I cannot even begin to tell you how much my heart aches for your loss. Mr Dixon as he'll always be known to me was just the loveliest, kindest most warm-hearted man I've ever met & as many others will attest he was also my favourite teacher by a country mile. Mrs Dixon I'm so glad that several times over the last 10 years or so you & Mr Dixon called upon my joinery services to carry out various small jobs as it gave me the opportunity to catch up with you both & share our stories & memories from those much loved Grangemouth High School History trips. He always seemed to really come to life reliving some of my daftest moments and would laugh heartily with a cheeky twinkle in his eye. It was great when he'd pull the photo albums out & we could laugh and relive those trips. My life was warmer & my memories richer to have known and loved such a special man. Ed aka Mr Dixon you will always be in my thoughts especially around this time of year. Mrs Dixon & Lynn my heart goes out to you both & everyone who knew him.
