WYNNE John Gilliespie Passed away peacefully at Parklands Care Home on Wednesday 24th August, 2022, aged 84 years, now at peace. Loving husband to his late wife Sandra and dad to the late Sheila, Shirley, Julie, Joanne and partners John and Glen. Grandad to Louise and Shaun and wife Zara. Friend and support to many, especially within Alloa 383 Air Cadet Squadron. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday 14th September 2022 at Alloa Ludgate P.C for 12:30pm thereafter to Sunnyside Cemetery. Family flowers only, retiral offering for Strathcarron Hospice and CHAS. Co-op Funeralcare, Alloa.

So sad to hear of John’s passing. I’ve never met such a wiser & gentler man. When I was a uniformed staff member at 383 (Alloa) Sqn he was always the person to go to for advice and point us in the right direction.
John must have dealt with hundreds of cadets during his time in the Corps and he will be very much missed by many who will remember him with fondness.
Thank you John for all you wisdom and friendship.
