INFORMATION is being sought after a pedestrian was left in a 'serious condition' following a road collision on the A9 in the early hours of Wednesday morning (June 5).
The 44-year-old man was walking on the road when the collision involving a Renault Megane car occurred close to the Muirpark Truck Stop.
Sergeant Andrew Thomson, of Forth Valley Division Road Policing Unit, said: "We are keen to hear from anybody who may have seen the man, who was wearing dark clothing, walking along the A9 from Plean to Bannockburn between 11pm yesterday (Tuesday June 4) and midnight.
"The driver of the car was unhurt but left badly shaken."
the man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital where he is in a serious condition.
