Families are invited to celebrate 40 years of Beaconhurst School at its Open Day this month.
The independent school marks its 40th anniversary this term and some extra special activities are planned for the event on Saturday, September 24.
The Open Day runs from 10am to 1pm and prospective families as well as those already at Beaconhurst are welcome to visit the Bridge of Allan school.
There will be a strong focus on the Arts with the unveiling of an impressive outdoor art installation which has been designed by pupils and led by the school’s new head of Expressive Arts Alison Marshall.
The Open Day also features music and drama performances, classroom-based activities plus school tours.
And Beaconhurst’s award-winning nursery will be open for a fun day with a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
Headteacher Sandra Bannerman will be on hand to answer questions and welcome visitors.
She said: “The Open Day is a little different this year as we’re celebrating our 40th birthday.
“It’s a chance for current families to experience a snapshot of the school’s daily life and see the activities their children are involved with.
“Existing and former pupils are also welcome and we’re open to the whole community so anyone interested in finding out more about the school or nursery should come along.
“It’s a historic year for us and we’re looking forward to a fun celebration of all Beaconhurst has to offer.”
Families who want a school tour are asked to register in advance so they can be assigned a pupil guide to show them round.
To register, email admissions@beaconhurst.com or call 01786 832146.
