A MAN followed a couple and shouted abuse at them along several streets.
On Thursday at Alloa Sheriff Court, William Allan admitted breaking previously set bail conditions by making contact with a woman he was prohibited from approaching on September 14 last year.
Allan also pleaded guilty to pursuing the same woman and a male friend along Alloa's Shillinghill, Drysdale Street and High Street on December 1, 2016, where he shouted, swore, uttered abusive remarks and made threats of violence towards them.
The 37-year-old was deemed to be unsuitable for the Caledonian Men's Programme for domestic abuse, but was said to be on a stable methadone prescription.
Sheriff David Mackie sentenced Allan, of Forbes Street in Alloa, to a Restriction of Liberty Order for three months in which he will have to remain at home between 8pm and 5am every night.
