A MAN suffered a cut to his head after the passenger of an erratically driven vehicle assaulted him in Plean last week.
The 21-year-old was driving his Vauxhall Corsa from Stirling last Friday, August 11, when he noticed another driver manoeuvring in an erratic and aggressive fashion behind him sometime around 11.45pm on Plean's Main Street.
The incident happened after he pulled over and approached the other vehicle – believed to an older style Corsa in a dark colour.
At this stage the passenger got out and assaulted him with inquires now ongoing to trace the man responsible.
He is described as being white, around 6ft 2in tall with a stocky build and a shaved head.
He was wearing a dark grey Adidas jogging suit with black stripes down each arm.
Detective Kenny McAndrew from Stirling CID said: “The victim sustained a cut to his head following this attack, which resulted in him requiring treatment at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
"Our inquiries are continuing to trace the suspect and the driver of the vehicle, who is believed to be a blonde-haired woman in her twenties.
"Anyone who can assist in identifying these individuals, or who has information relevant to this investigation is urged to contact police immediately."
