LINDSAY & Gilmour’s pharmacy in Bannockburn has re-opened its doors, following a substantial upgrade to expand and improve its services and facilities for the local community.
The long-standing pharmacy says it will offer a wide range of new and improved facilities which will help Lindsay & Gilmour to undertake the expanding role carried out by local pharmacies in the provision of community based health services.
This includes:
-Modernised, more substantially equipped and wheelchair friendly pharmacy layout with private consultation room.
-Purpose built state of the art dispensary to manage the growing number of prescription numbers due to expanding communities.
-Bright and inviting healthcare environment delivering comprehensive pharmacy services to meet local health needs.
Currently the pharmacy offers a wide range of services including Flu vaccinations, treatment of minor ailments and help to stop smoking.
It is expected that these services will be extended in the future to include travel health clinics, health checks and blood pressure testing and advice.
The team will be led by pharmacist manager Gillian Frame.
She said: “The team at Lindsay & Gilmour Bannockburn are very excited to welcome our customers back through the doors of our new-look pharmacy.
"We are delighted to be offering a greatly enhanced range of services and are all looking forward to continuing to work closely with Bannockburn Health Centre in helping support the health needs of the local community.”
Lindsay & Gilmour managing director, Philip Galt, said: “The substantial improvements made to the range of facilities at Lindsay & Gilmour’s Bannockburn pharmacy further demonstrates our commitment to providing communities with the very highest quality practical health and support services.
"Every member of our pharmacy team is also proud to contribute to delivering a welcoming and caring environment to everyone who visits us.”
