A MAJOR sponsorship deal has secured new kit for the season at Bannockburn Rugby Club.
The around 200 members, who range from minis to adults, will be donning brand new kit thanks to funding from wood panel product company Norbord.
The club’s vice president, Michael Kenny, hailed the donation as “fantastic” and said: “The company’s sponsorship not only helped us purchase kits; it also allowed us to use other money we’d raised to fund a modern apprentice through Active Stirling.
“He visits local primary schools giving taster sessions and training. That wouldn’t have been possible without Norbord’s help.”
