STIRLING residents will be able to request an uplift of bulky items by the council from next week.
Stirling Council’s Special Uplift Service will resume from Monday, May 17 and from Tuesday, May 11, households will be able to request an uplift of bulky items of household waste online or by calling 01786 404040.
As before, residents can makes a request via the online form and will receive a call back within 48 hours to confirm the collection date and to make the payment.
The special uplift service was suspended at Christmas due to the national Covid restrictions.
All booked items should be presented on the kerbside outside the home as waste crews will not enter a property to collect items.

Home owners or members of households who have Covid-19 symptoms should not request an uplift.
Anyone who develops Covid-19 symptoms and has a uplift scheduled should call 01786 404040 to rearrange the request.
