STIRLING Farmers’ Market returns this weekend with its usual wide range of offerings plus the return of award-winning pies.
The market will be held on Port Street, Stirling this Saturday, July 10 from 10am until 4pm.
One of the featured stalls will be The Little Bakery will be showcasing their award-winning pies once again.
Chief Baker Kerr Little will have his famous Scotch Pies amongst around 20 varieties for marketgoers to choose from including both vegetarian and meat varieties.
Kerr said: “We’re really looking forward to being back in Stirling.
“Many of our regular customers have been in touch to ask when we’ll be back – they clearly appreciate a tasty bit of pie.
“We’ve not been skiving off while we’ve been away though, there’s been a lot going on in the Little Bakery – fine tuning recipes and maybe even some top secret new flavours to try.”
Other stallholders at this weeks’ market will also be offering Highland beef, Arbroath fish, Cheeses from Arran & Comrie and free range hens’ & ducks’ eggs.
There will also be wild venison and game, sourdough breads & rolls, Lebanese deli products and more.
Social distancing measures will be in place with the market running at half capacity.
Organisers ask that shoppers give each other space and wear face coverings when visiting stalls.
The market is held on the second and fourth Saturday of the month.
