A MAN has been charged in connection with a house fire in Forth Valley this morning.
The 54-year-old has been arrested and charged after a fire at a property on the main street in Doune around 3.35am on Wednesday, May 25.
Nobody was injured in the incident and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
The man is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, May 26.
Chief Inspector Caroline Logan said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who helped at the scene.”
