A SONGWRITERS' circle is giving Forth Valley musicians the opportunity to showcase their own material at a monthly club.
Stirling Song Club – Sound on Sessions is looking to hit the right note with musicians with the next meeting taking place this Sunday, February 26, at King Cons in the city, from 12noon to 3pm.
The first event in January was hailed a success with 13 performers on stage and Garry Son and the Smoking Gun as the featured act.
The club, which is being run on the last Sunday of each month, is being organised by singer-songwriter Barry Honeyman and music photographer Bazza Mills.
Barry, from Bridge of Allan, said: "The club is an opportunity for musicians to connect, try out new material and also provide a platform for young aspiring musicians to meet and mingle with experienced acts to network, learn their trade and enhance their stage craft in a friendly environment.
"Stirling Song Club is a curated event with acts who would like to take part applying to be involved."
