THE Thistles Shopping Centre is giving customers a chance to turn their dreams into reality with the introduction of a community wishing well.

As part of their #ThistlesHelps initiative, the well has been opened to celebrate World Wish Day 2023, which is held on Saturday, April 29.

Customers can submit a wish to the well alongside their contact details, with various wishes being granted throughout the year.

Money thrown into the well will be collected and raised for Make a Wish UK, a charity which helps make life-changing wishes come true for children with terminal illnesses.

Gary Turnbull, Thistles centre director, said: “We are committed to supporting our local community through #ThistlesHelps and are constantly thinking of new, innovative ways in which we can give back to those that have helped us so much.

“The new wishing well is an exciting addition to the centre and we can’t wait to see what wishes flow in and how we can help achieve them.

“Being situated in the heart of the city, we pride ourselves in doing the best we can to support and champion the generous and compassionate nature Stirling is known for.”

The community wishing well is open for customers now.
