KEEN amateur photographers around the inner Forth region are being encouraged to get snapping for a contest.
Inner Forth Landscape and its Climate FORTH project team are inviting amateur photographers to submit entries reflecting the built and natural heritage of the Inner Forth region.
Titled the Inner Forth Photography Contest, pictures can be submitted of birds and wildlife or the equally impressive buildings and historical structures from the region.
The top 15 will be exhibited for four weeks from the end of October until the end of November at the community gallery within the Thistles shopping centre in Stirling.
Two winners and runners up will be selected with the prize for first announced as a £100 Jessops voucher along with an overnight stay at a hospitality location in the region.
Much of the Wee County is included within the competition boundary, including the Black Devon Wetlands near Alloa.
The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday, September 27.
