A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital following a road crash near Plean on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is said to have sustained critical injuries when the bike collided with a car at the crossroads of Roman Road and Cadgers Loan.
Police said the incident involved a black Yamaha motorbike and a grey coloured Volkswagen Tiguan, and took place at around 12.15pm on June 5.
The rider was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by air ambulance, with the road closed for six hours while enquiries were carried out.
An appeal has now been issued to the public for any information about the incident, including any dash cam footage.
Sergeant David Marr, Forth Valley Roads Policing Unit, said: "We are continuing our enquiries to establish exactly what happened here and would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have information that can help us, to come forward.
"If you have dash-cam footage or seen either of these vehicles prior to the incident, we would again urge you to get in contact."
