An image of a man police would like to speak to has been released after a further man was beaten so badly he couldn't eat solid food for six weeks.
Officers investigating an incident of GBH in Windsor are releasing an image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
At around 10pm on Sunday 5 May, a man aged in his thirties, was assaulted inside The Acre public house in Victoria Street.
The victim sustained a fractured jaw, which required surgery, and he was unable to eat solid food for six weeks.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
Investigating officer PC Alex Mackenzie said: “I am releasing an image of a man who I believe may have vital information that can assist this investigation.
“If you recognise this person, or you believe this to be you, I would ask you to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police either online via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240208323.
“I would also again appeal to anybody who was in the area on the day of the assault to contact us if you have any information that may assist this investigation.”
