After a windy start, losing the first goal, the sun shone on Burn who scored five to progress to the third round of the RJM Scottish Amateur Cup.
After seven minutes keeper Greig Maitland made a strong right-hand save to foil a blistering short.
Burn remained under par and the home side took the lead after 16.
With Kenny McLellan’s encouragements, Burn clawed their way back into the game.
On the half hour David Donaldson headed home the equaliser from a great Darren Walker cross.
Before half time McLellan converted the penalty to the chagrin of the home supporters following a clear foul on Walker.
Steven Knox, Ryan Weir had chances.
From the resulting corner Robbie Todd dummied and Ryan Weir converted. Walker was next to shoot wide.
Half time 1:3.
Burn started and continued to control the second half.
Knox, Walker and Weir all creating and having their own opportunities.
Stuart Maitland and Knox gave way for John McGregor and Chris Ogilvie.
The latter made an immediate impact pouncing on a Ryan Weir through ball to race in on goal and calmly slot it home.
Walker and Weir were next to get rested giving appearances to Derek Currie and Sean Lynch.
With five to go Ogilvie netted his brace from a Donaldson pass to complete the five one win.
