THE recent achievements of Stirling County’s Rugby Academy was officially recognised by Scottish Rugby last Saturday.
Dee Bradbury, vice-president of the Scottish Rugby Union, presented trophies and pendants to representatives of county’s age-grade youth teams – under-13s to under-18s – who retained Scottish Rugby’s President’s Club Conference – Overall Championship, comprising the elite rugby development clubs across Scotland.
County’s under-18s are also current holders of the National Youth League Cup and the under-15s, under-16s and under-18s are current holders of their respective Caledonia Cup competitions.
The success of County’s under-18 and under-15 Girls teams was also rewarded with presentation of the inaugural national Girls’ Club Conference trophy.
